  17. It requires a translation of the keymaps, at least.  I believe it also
  18. requires some timing translation, but I'll have to check some very old
  19. notes.  There used to be a product that did this, anybody remember
  20. (I will check my old magazines and let you know, if no one else posts
  21. in a couple of days).

  26. The PageUp/PageDown keys on my A2000 keyboard work OK.  Remember, the
  27. software (including any CLIs) has to know what to do when you press
  28. the keys.  My old copy of WordPerfect knows what to do, MicroEmacs
  29. doesn't.  If your software doesn't use the keys now, changing to a PC
  30. keyboard won't help.

  32. Also, if you use any "Control-key"-intensive software, like MicroEmacs,
  33. or the Linux or NetBSD editors, you will find that the PC-style key layout
  34. can leave your hands aching after reaching down to the SPACE bar level
  35. for the "Ctrl" key modifier.  I bought a couple of old PC/AT keyboards
  36. just to have if I have to spend much time on a PC.
